In 2017, Washington State University launched the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine, the first medical school to open in the state of Washington in 100 years. This is a short, promotional piece that captures the emotional and physical journey of the first class of students to the White Coat Ceremony; a rite of passage in which future doctors don a white doctor's coat for the first time, symbolizing their entry into the healthcare profession.
